So I thought I would make an ‘end of year faves’ series in the run-up to Christmas to show the glosses and balms that i’ve been loving all year. There’s been so many and it was hard to whittle it down (I sound like i’m hosting some sort of award ceremony lmao!)…so let’s get down to it then!

Lip Balms

Carmex
Korres Lip Butter Mango
Estelle & Thild’s Raspberry Balm

Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple £7.99 –  One of my favourite butters/glosses. Gives a sheer finish with enough colour to form a stain after a couple of hours. I find it really moisturising and the colour is pretty too!

Sleek Glossed Lipgloss in ‘Rumour’ £4.00 – A cheap and chic gloss which comes heavily pigmented and is easily applicable and versatile to put over different shades of lipstick. It’s also a buildable colour, with a little going a long way!

Revlon Colourburst Gloss in Hot Pink £7.00 – I’ve never been a huge fan of sparkle glosses, I hate that you can sometimes feel the grit on your lips – eww- but the consistency of this lipgloss is such that I don’t really notice the grit. It’s a lovely translucent cotton candy colour with amazing stay power and just generally looks so pretty!

Revlon ColourBurst Gloss in Sunset Peach £7.00 – I love the textures of the Revlon glosses and was really excited to try a colour that I don’t normally wear often – peach/orange. The colour goes on easily, can be built up and goes well over lipstick.

Avon Ultra Colour Rich Brilliance Gloss £3.00This is the gloss I go to when I’m going out for a night on the town. I love the multi-dimensional sparkle and it stands out without being over the top. The brush also stops me from applying too much also.

MUA Sheer Finish Lipgloss – This is my ‘everyday’ gloss that I normally put over my nude lipsticks for a touch of sheen. A steal at £1, this gloss does everything it says on the tin; has more than OK staying power and isn’t too over the top for the day. Simples!
What are your favourite glosses/balms of this year?
