Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the Curvy Convention; a plus size fashion event which hosted a variety of plus sized brands as well as hourly catwalk shows featuring the clothing. I had such an amazing time and met loads of other plus size bloggers, some for the first time and overall it was a great opportunity to see some of the upcoming collections as well as meet some of the faces behind the brands.

I decided to wear this Lovedrobe for Simply Be floral skater dress as it was a lovely, sunny day and I was in a bit of a floral mood at the time; Although the dress is cut to a skater style, it reminds me of one of those vintage tea dresses you’d get outta Downtown Abbey or summat (completely guesstimating as I’ve never watched the show!). Maybe it’s the floral print against a dark background, or perhaps its the cut of the sleeves, but I get a real 1920’s vibe from the dress.
I teamed the dress with what I have now re-christened as my Morpheus duster coat from Simply Be  and a pair of New Look Chelsea boots.
