First off, please let me apologise for a couple of things; 1) the shitty iphone quality of the photos and; 2) mirror stains! Now that we’ve got that out the way;
Me. In a bikini. LAWLZ. My reaction to the thought of me in a bikini over the last several years. Oh but no more my friends! Recently there has been a surge in plus size bloggers and non-bloggers taking to social media to show off their bikini bodies – a movement that I have been inspired by and what better way to contribute to the cause than to do so in a gorgeous midkini designed by my absolute favourite blogger of all time, Gabifresh?!
I’d been tinkering with the idea of buying this set from Swimsuits for All for a while, so when payday rolled around last month, I bit the bullet and purchased it. Note that there IS a customs charge of about £12.80, however I managed to avoid this due to a mix up with the postman. The bottoms were out of stock in my size at the time unfortunately, but I believe they are restocked now. This bikini top is GORGEOUS. Amazing print, and although the camera quality doesn’t pick it up, the colours are extremely vibrant – almost neon bright. The design reminds me of the opening credits of all 90’s teen sitcoms and has underwired cups to help with the boob support.
The bra straps are detachable which is great if you prefer the racer-back style like moi. The clips have a tendency to be a bit loose and randomly detach after a while, so i’ve taken to bending the metal clasps a bit closer together so it stays on.
I purchased a US size 16 (which is a UK 18 on the site), and it almost fits to size, however I do find the cups a little bit roomy and the ‘longline’ part of the bikini is pretty big, so I would recommend sizing down for a bit more of a snug fit.
You know what? I’ll probably use this top as a crop top too – the print is so versatile that I think I MAY be able to pull it off. I’ll let you guys know my findings a bit later. 🙂

I am sure you can rock this as a crop top cause it fits you very well. As for the swimsuit, get it now before the summer is over and Enjoy!
I love all of the colors, I definitely think it could work as a crop top too! x
I do love the top…. I think you should jump on the plus size model ban wagon.
I love the bikini top.
