Earlier this year, L’Occitane added a new limited addition to their range consisting of a body cream, foaming gel, hand cream and shea butter. I purchased the whipped body cream and foaming shower gel.

Honey Whipped Body Cream

“Give into sweet temptation with the Honey Whipped Body Cream, which combines the nourishing powers of shea butter with the delicious scent of honey. Our unique formula has a light, soufflé-like texture which feels incredibly soft to touch, leaving the skin silky and smooth. This body cream contains 10% shea butter to help moisturise and protect the skin, while its soft and warm honey fragrance leaves a delightful scent on the body.”
I absolutely love the whipped body cream. The first thing I noticed about the cream was how light and fluffy the texture was; almost the same consistency as whipped cream! The cream is easy to apply and sinks into the skin quickly. My only qualms with the cream is that I would have liked it to come in a bigger size. The whole container lasted me approximately 5 days before I ran out which is a bit of a shame as it is essentially a lovely product.
Another qualm was that the smell rather put me off, however this may be purely subjective as I personally do not like the smell/taste of honey even though I use it a lot cosmetically. Aside from that, my skin feels moisturised and soft when used – a great tool for Winter!

Shea Honey Foaming Gel

“Delight your senses with the Honey Foaming Gel, formulated with softening shea and sweet honey extracts to gently cleanse and perfume the body, while nourishing the skin. Its unique texture transforms into a creamy lather to leave the skin velvety soft and delicately fragranced.”
Honey scent aside, the shower gel does what it says on the tin. You only need to use a little of the gel as it foams up rather quickly. The shea element moisturises and hydrates the skin, leaving a light shea/honey scent.   I personally prefer L’Occitane’s Almond Shower Gel over this one, but you do get more for your money as you don’t need to use a lot at all.

L'Occitane Shea Butter & Honey Collection

It's a shame that the body cream didn't last very long, especially for the price you're paying. It sounds really nice though, I love L'occitane xx

    Almost Delightful
