Look; I’ll be damned if I let this wind knock my wig askew or have the weather force me into wearing uninspiring drab pieces this A/W. Going to London Fashion Week this season (albeit on day 1 only), really inspired me to get my arse in gear and start getting into these primary colour fashions.
Among the various trends spotted at LFW, colour blocking (and cherry red) were prevalent. Primary colours are just fun, innit? It’s a nice way to brighten and mix up your outfit, so I decided to incorporate two of my favourite colours to wear at the moment; yellow and blue into this easy-to-wear style suitable for the workplace and beyond.

Please excuse the creasage, as it was fine before I left the house! Here, we have an Alice & You Double Layer Dress from Simply Be US  in mustard, which has been my colour of the year to be honest. The dress looks slightly different in regards to colour and is a bit smaller than on the website even though I purposely sized up. However, I have since heard that this is often the case with Alice & You pieces. I’m a fan of above-the-knee garms though, so I’ll make it work!
I coupled the dress with this stunning blue shawl collar coat from the Arched Eyebrow collection at Navabi. I expect nothing less than perfection when it comes to Navabs, and again they deliver. The coat fits perfectly and is incredibly true to size. Also, the colour is simply stunning!
The Arched Eyebrow collection was created by fellow gorgeous blogger and all-around online badass Bethany Rutter and includes HELLA pieces which you can mix and match to create awesome colour blocking outfits.
