Yesterday (or this morning for people in the UK!) saw the premiere of the 83rd Academy Awards! 

Hosted by Anne Hathaway and future babydaddy in my head, James Franco, the awards shaped up to be one of the most predictable in recent years, with Oscar favourite, Colin Firth and his movie ‘The King’s Speech’ raking up all the awards. It turned out to be a great night for us Brits.

My darling and muse, Helena Bonham Carter also won best supporting actress which I am so happy about!

I thought the hosts were good, although i’m inclined to believe that James was on a host of different ‘substances’ that night as he seemed quite jaded lol.

ANYWAY. Enough about all that. Here were my favourite red carpet looks of the night. 🙂 Compared to other years, this year’s fashion was quite subtle. Loads of nudes, pastel colours and chiffon. It screamed ‘elegance’ on the night:
