Winter’s here, which means it’s time to alter my skincare regimen for the chilly days ahead! I have dry skin so I tend to use products with loads of Vitamin E/A oils and nut butters. Here are the current products i’ve been loving for the last couple of months;
Simple Regeneration Age Resisting Eye Cream – £6.99
This product is aimed towards women over 30, however I sometimes tend to have luggage under my eyes tend to my severe lack of sleep. They aren’t serious but prevention is better than the cure right?!
The cream includes green tea and mushroom extract, shea butter and pro vitamin B5 to moisturize and de-puff eyes. It has the same consistency as a facial primer and has a really gentle cooling effect when applied.
I’ve been using the product for a couple of months now and I do see a bit of a difference, being that my under eye area has reduced in puffiness. A little goes a very long way and i definitely will be re-purchasing.
Simple Kind To Skin Purifying Cleansing Lotion £5.99
Winner of Fabulous Magazine’s best cleanser of 2011, Simple’s cleansing lotion contains loads of vitamin B5 which actively restores skin cells. It is extremely moisturizing, albeit it being a bit too creamy/greasy, it does get the job done!
Rodial Arm Sculpt £59.00
I’ve only just started this product so I still cannot provide a full review, however based on the last week, my arms feel a lot firmer than before. However, I must say that a little goes an extremely long way as the consistency (a lot like a facial makeup primer) is very slimy/grainy and once you rub in too much, these little gelatin-like grains appear that make it quite uncomfortable!
The smell isn’t the greatest either; it has a strong ammonia-like odour but it’s not anything that we can’t deal with . It’s pricey but so far it’s proven to be pretty awesome.
The Body Shop Vitamin C Face Spritz
Love, love, love this. I spray a tad on my face before I apply my make up and it instantly refreshes my skin, making it more vibrant and glowy. Smells great too!
Superdrug’s Vitamin E Moisturizing Cream
Since I can’t use shea butter on my face (due to the consistency being too thick), i’ve started using Vitamin E on my face day and night. It’s very light and sinks into my epidermis (look at me being fancy) without it being too greasy.
What have been your faves??
