Yes, I know I said I would never purchase another beauty box again after my previous disasters with other boxes *ahem*, yet here we are. After seeing some amazeballs American reviews of the Birchbox and over here, I decided to take the leap and subscribe. This is my first box and I am not disappointed!
The theme of this month’s Birchbox resolves around must-have beauty items for London Fashion Week. Containing 4 full-sized products (yay!), the box includes everything one would need to survive the long, arduous days attending fashion shows and taking photos outside Freemasons Hall and Somerset House.(…)
Birchbox Eyelash Curler £10 – I found this so amusing as I had been meaning to buy a new eyelash curler for about a year now but just couldn’t be bothered to, and low and behold, one arrives!
Nick Chavez Plump N’ Thick Leave In Thickening Mist (£13.90) – I’ve heard so many wonderful things about this leave in mist from other bloggers and since I’m currently wearing my hair in a lil’ afro (which I will be debuting on here soon!), I can’t wait to try this out!
Korres Guava Shower Gel, £8 – I am a mahoosive Korres fan so this came as a lovely surprise for moi! The shower gel contains wheat proteins and aloe vera, which cleanse and hydrate your skin. The scent is absolutely divine and screams luxury. A must have.
Vichy Thermal Spa Water, £7 – I haven’t heard a lot about the Vichy brand, so I’m quite interested in using this product – since receiving the box, i’ve had a few sprays of this multi purpose facial spray and it is quite refreshing to say the least. You can also use it to set your makeup, as well as to tone your face.
Eyeko Skinny Eyeliner, £9.50 – I love the idea behind the design of the pencil as it’s designed to help create more of steady hand for those of us who struggle with drawing straight lines….*raises hand sheeplishly*. Although I wouldn’t personally pay more than £6 for an eyeliner pencil, I can see a host of other companies drawing on (see what I did there?!) this same concept.
EBOOST Natural Energy Booster, £20.99 for 20 packets – EBOOST contains a natural, nutrient-rich tonic to give you enough energy to last you through the day. I actually tried it this morning instead of my morning cup of coffee and albeit the taste (I’m not really a lemonade sort of gal), I was surprised that I didn’t get the normal midday-3pm crash that I’d normally get when consuming caffeine.
Overall, I’m very impressed with the Birchbox haul this month and I’ll be continuing my subscription to see what else they have up their spring for next month!
Have you recieved your Birchbox yet?
