“Eight hour beauty sleep for your skin.”
As someone who regularly has about four hours of sleep a night, the tagline above definitely piqued my curiosity, coupled with the fact that the product comes in the form of a serum. Now, I likes me a serum. I’m normally ALL OVER serums and oils like flies on…off food and so I decided to pick up a bottle and try this baby out.
Up until now I had never heard of a ‘serum-in-oil’, although I can take a guess from it’s title that it’s meant to cut down on regimen time by combining a moisturising oil within a serum. Sounds good so far. The serum promises that after eight hours, “the skin will feel replenished, smoother and softer” and that “skin will look more radiant and fresher.”.
At just £12.00, I’m really impressed with how the serum seems to be working so far. I’ve been using it every day for about 5 days with the Body Shop’s Vitamin E night cream for a bit more of a vitamin boost. It’s not heavy at all and feels a lot like a dry oil, so it tends to absorb into the skin very fast. The serum also contains The Body Shop’s highest concentration of wheatgerm oil, which means if you’re normally a fan of their vitamin E products, you’re sure to love this too.

I love night time treatments, the anticipation of a blemish free face in the morning gets me the most 🙂
