Anyhoo, my birthday was a couple weeks ago (May 5th) and as I didn’t really want much of a fuss, my boyfriend and I decided to spend the day in Brighton, which was exciting for me as it was my first time going down there! We spent the day (trying) to semi-sunbath on the beach, eating fish & chips on the pier and spending way too much money on the 10p machines in the arcades, which to be honest is a bit of a vice for me – I love a good 10p machine!
Afterwards we took a stroll into town and came upon a well known shopping district called North Laines I believe, which is absolutely fantastic if you’re into vintage clothing and interior design. As we’ve recently moved into our new flat, North Laines was an absolute paradise for things such as vintage and intricate ornaments as well as general household treasures.
The theme of the day was comfort however, so I decided to give my green ASOS Curve dungaree dress a spin, paired with my ASOS Curve spotted mesh T-Shirt and hi-top chucks; proper tourist chic innit?
