As you may have heard, high street favourite River Island will be releasing their first plus size collection next month online and in stores. The first first photos of the new collection have been released so click below to have a gander and let me know what you think!
I must say, I didn’t really know what to think when I fist heard that RI were coming out with a plus collection, however overall I am VERY impressed. The white Miami Vice blazer and orange co-ordinate set is definately getting copped when it comes out and I love the mix of feminine and structured styled within the collection. I am disappointed the the line only stops at a 24 as this severely limits plus sized women who are bigger than that and this is a real issue with recent plus size collections. Here’s hoping that they do extend their sizes and ACTUALLY replicate clothes within the non-plus section of the store!
The plus size collection will hit stores on the 9th of March.

Honestly? I’m not to keen on it! The only thing I’d most likely wear would be the white blazer. It’s not for me.. It seems to be receiving alot of positive feedback though which is good.
Oh my! Put me down for the print jacket, the white jacket and the grey one. And the two print shirts. Its actually looking better than I thought it might. I’m pleasantly surprised. Might as well have the print dress while I’m adding things to my mental basket.
They have some really really nice stuff, will be interesting to see it in stores!
