London Fashion Week is officially in fully effect and this year, I had the utterly amazing pleasure of attending my first ever LFW event with Simply Be, with me taking over their social media using the hashtag “#SBxLFW“. To say I was excited was a major understatement! With this being my first ever LFW outing, I was a tad nervous at first but was eager to soak up the atmosphere and be inspired. For the occasion, I decided to go with an outfit that was comfortable as well as stylish so opted for a cullotte jumpsuit with a high neck sleeveless jumper and duster coat, all from Simply Be, to complete the look.
Let me tell you; this jumpsuit is COMFORTABLE AF. You can do squats in it and all sorts tbh. I was wary at first about the dreaded ‘camel toe scrummage’ however this jumpsuit floats nicely over the FUPA and doesn’t scrunch up at all. I originally wanted to team the outfit with the Lavish Alice striped blazer, however it wasn’t available in my size and so I made do with an all-black affair.
But onto the day. So I arrived at Brewer St with camera in tow, ready to take some flicks. I noticed that the main style theme of the day was definitely leaning towards comfort; I saw lots of people wearing flats, relaxed tailoring and chunky knits. The day was frantic, vibrant and so much fun and I’d definitely want to experience it again! I had such a great time soaking in the atmosphere (literally “soaking” it in after a while as it started to rain!) and hope that if I do go next time, I get to sit at a show or two!
Below are some photos of the day, including a quick outfit flick or two from myself. To have a peek at my photos of the day, follow Simply Be on Twitter and Instagram and make sure you stay tuned for the rest of the week as some more lovely bloggers will be taking over their social media!
