My wardrobe doesn’t include many maxi-dresses and so I try and make sure that when I do get one, that I kind of go all out. When I tried on this gorgeous Lovedrobe Embellished Maxi Dress, the Game of Thrones nerd awakened in me and I felt like Daenerys ‘Mother of Dragons’ Targaryen – I just feel like this is something she would wear! There’s something about this dress that just feels so regal; from the meticulously detailed embellished diamante and mesh cutout around the waist, to the lightly pleated and floaty chiffon fabric, it’s a gown that’s fit for a Queen.
The dress is simple, yet elegant. I feel that the detail within the arms and waist area spoke for itself so I decided not to opt for any jewellery. I also paired the dress with my trusty Simply Be block sandals.
This is the kind of dress that i’d wear to a wedding, Christening or some other kind of formal event. It’s also available up to a size 32, which is amazing!
