I have been waiting for the opportune time to don this crown in public and with what else but this bright maxi kaftan dress from Simply Be (the same kaftan I wore for the Simply Be shoot!). There’s something about this dress that makes me visualize scenes of riding throughout Coachella Valley in a Volkswagen Mini with some hippies in the 70’s in the middle of August. Mmm..California dreamin”. 

The maxi dress fits very true to size and looks good with either sandals or wedges. The high empire line cut makes the dress just fitted enough so it doesn’t look like a typical “mumsy” dress and the print is vibrant  – a great piece that can be worn to a picnic in the park – to an evening BBQ/party. 

I also just want to say a mahoosive thank you for all the love that you guys showed regarding the Simply Be campaign photos – I was pretty nervous of what the reaction would be to be honest, but everybody was so overwhelmingly positive and I can’t thank you guys enough! 😀
