Because who said big girls can’t pull of cute underwear?

Of late I’ve noticed that I’ve developed a bit of an obsession with all things lingerie and underwear-y, due to my recent discovery of the broad range of lingerie, swimwear and underwear pieces offered by Simply Be’s sister site ‘Simply Yours’, whose bra sizes go up to a 58 L and are the home of a number of fabulous lingerie brands such as Curvy Kate, Panache, Anna Scholz and Gossard.

I decided to get this gorgeous pastel floral set as I’m still into the whole ‘full waist high brief’ thing and this set just screamed ‘whimsical’ to me. The bra is described as a Midi-bra as it’s not quite longline and is underwired and padded too. I just love the design, it’s very kitsch, feminine and playful and it’s very supportive too; with thick straps and four hooks-and-eyes which keeps you banded up all day. The side panels are pretty thick which helps with the side boob fat overspillage and keeps everything trim.

The high waist knickers are made with soft microfibre for comfort and includes a nice lace trim on the front panel. They are available up to a size 28.

It’s one of those sets that I’ll wear for special occasions as it’s too cute to wear everyday!
