Whenever I think of the word luxe, my first thoughts always travel towards uber-luxe department store Harrods; the home place of some of the most sought after luxury cosmetic products in the world. Today I thought I’d wax lyrical about one of the brands that I’ve been lusting over for the past couple of years or so, Tom Ford.
Tom Ford (who is also GORGEOUS by the way, I’ve had the biggest crush on him for ages!) launched his Cosmetics collection back in 2005 and has been one of the staples of luxe beauty and skincare ever since. 
Tom’s philosophy is simple: “..[the products] have the potential to enable a real woman to become as glamorous and as inspirational as she can possibly be.”  His vision is that any woman, no matter her age or features, can create a complete look in which her individual beauty is amplified and she appears to radiate from within. I took a sneaky detour to Harrods on Saturday to sample some of the lip colours and was pleasantly surprised to find out that at least 8 of the shades suited me; something that I find to be quite rare within most luxury ranges. I normally find that I only suit around a couple of shades, however Tom really thought this through, thus creating a diverse range of shades that suit all skintones.

My favourite shade from the sheer collection is Incorrigible, a muted yellow based pink shade that applies sheer but is very buildable – a definite one for the wishlist! I also love the rose tinted blush in Flush, as well as the Fleur de Chine perfume; something I would definitely need to save for (or receive as a 25th birthday present which happens to be on the 5th of May? Hint? ^_^).
