I don’t know what it is about short hair that makes me want to experiment more with makeup. This time, I thought I thought that I’d bring out my ‘inner vamp’ with the help of a couple of items from Bare Minerals’ Marvelous Moxie collection; notably ‘Live Large’ lipstick and the ‘Electrified’ liner, both a deep plum.

In order to achieve the look, I first filled in the entire lip area with the liner, blotted my lips using a tissue and re-applied. I then went over the lip with the lipstick directly from the bullet. To finish up, I lined the inside of my eyes using Avon’s Super Shock gel eyeliner; I always prefer to line the waterlines of my eyes as it makes my eyes appear less round and more almond-shaped.
I’ve also started using a new highlighting concealer under the eye from US label, L.A Girl, which I’m still playing around with, however I have another post all about them coming up soon ‘o clock!
