I remember when I started University and we had that fat student loan in my account, me and my housemates would ALWAYS splash out at M&S Food and Waitrose. However, come half term, we dined at Aldi and Lidl. We kept to that cycle every three months until graduation. It’s always the thing innit? When you have a bit of money, you can accord the finer things in life; NEOM and Diptyque, Jo Malone and The White Company. However as Christmas is arriving and we’re all saving up, I decided to cut back on the luxe and head down to good ole’ MUJI to pick up some of their gorgeous purse-friendly tin candles.
I’ve always loved a good MUJI candle; I mean, at £3.50, you can’t go wrong can ya? For the price, they smell amazing. The scents don’t linger as long as their expensive counter parts, but they are just as strong and come in a variety of different scents and fun, bright colours. One tin can last me around a month if I burn it every day for about 10-15 minutes and it normally makes my room smell amazing for the best part of two hours. Like I said earlier, you just can’t go wrong with these. They’d make awesome Christmas presents..speaking of which, I may get this for someone at work for the Secret Santa. Hmm.
Anyway, have you guys used MUJI candles? What’s your favourite scent?
Never tried but sounds good.
