My Mum has been using using Liz Earle products for years and she has such amazing skin so I thought it would be a great opportunity to try for myself, one of her best loved products.
The Cleanse & Polish cleanser can be used in the morning and evening (I did both) and has a two-step phase action. Phase one involves cleansing the skin of make up, mascara and impurities using the mineral oil free cream cleanser, and the second step involves using the muslin cloth included to gently polish off the rest of the cleanser and help dislodge dead skin cells – this is done by running the muslin cloth under hot water for a bit in aid to open up your pores.
The cleanser itself is a thick cream, dispensed in a handy pump action bottle. Enriched with active natural ingredients including Cocoa butter and eucalyptus, my skin feels very hydrated even in this Winter weather. I’ve also noticed that my face has brightened up a little, especially around the drier parts of my skin such as the tip of my nose and my cheeks. The cleanser is also awesome at removing pesky eyeshadows and mascara. When cleaning my face, I normally blot and press the hot muslin cloth over my eyes and then slowly use small circular actions to release the mascara. I’ve found that it works a treat. 🙂
The Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Cleanser* comes in a variety of sizes ranging from a 15ml tube + cloth for £3.25 for those who wish to try first, to a 200ml tube! The 100ml pump starter kit above is £14.25 from their website.
Have you tried Liz Earle products? What are your favourites?
I officially don't like anyone who uses this product – you included! Haha. Only joking. I tried this C+P last year and I LOVED it, but after a few weeks of use it broke me out into a really horrible rash so I had to stop using it. So disappointed as it's an amazing cleanser!
