I was recently generously given some pieces by online jewellery and accessory company, Brav3bird Boutique; who are inspired by vintage, African and cultural designs married with indie/punk influences. They do a broad range of jewellery as earrings, necklaces, ankle cuffs and beads.

I received a studded beanie hat and two bead bracelets; one of the bracelets bears the ‘Gye Nyame’ sign (which means except God), which is a Ghanaian symbol. I’ve been wanting a Gye Nyame symbol for so long and I’ve even thought of getting it tattooed on me, so i’m well chuffed!

I chose these two symbols as being a Christian, I like to keep such symbols around me at all times! Brav3bird Boutique will also be launching vintage clothing such as denim and customized shirts.
