Hey y’all!

Yesterday I attended the launch of Avon’s new collection at the Mayfair Hotel entitled ‘Arctic Goddess’ – a collection of gorgeous aqua and blue eyeshadow and nail polish hues inspired by the A/W ’12 catwalks. 

The event was hosted by the lovely folks at Halpern PR as well as Ambassadors Pixiwoo and Alesha Dixon, who is also the face of the new collection as well as the Beauty and Empowerment Ambassador (When I tell you that she is STUNNING in real life..O_O)

As well as previewing the new collection, we also had a chance to view other products in the collections to try out – I can’t begin to tell you how amazing and warm everyone was! Sam and Nic from Pixiwoo were on hand all evening to talk about the new collection and offer makeup tips and Alesha Dixon was an absolute sweetheart. We spoke about topics including blogging, the lack of diversity within the mainstream media and how proud she is to be a spokesperson for Avon as they really care about their consumers – which I completely agree with because they are lovely!

I’ve never really purchased items from Avon before, however after yesterday I think i’ll become a regular customer as their products are so pigmented and diverse which I love! We also received a goody bag which I will go through in a later post.
