A couple of weeks ago on Twitter, I was having a discussion with fellow #bbloggers regarding products that we’d never tried before and it occurred to me that even though I’d heard and read many great things about Stila, I had never tried any of their products, especially their famous lip glazes. Realising that I didn’t have any neutral lip-glosses, I decided to purchase their lip glaze trio in ‘Warm’, which features three of their best-selling glazes. This set was £12 from the
Stila website.
The neutral shades are; Apricot, Creme Brulee and Chocolate.
It wasn’t until they arrived that I realised how tiny they were, featuring only 1.5ml worth of product. They have quite a sticky texture, however it wears off after around 30 minutes or so and I did find that I had to reapply the lip glazes several times throughout the course of the day.
Each gloss has a hint of their named flavours; the only downside (for me) is that all the glosses applied on translucent – now it may be down to the colouring my lips or the fact that they are neutral shades but I was left slightly disappointed by this.
I also find that I am getting through the product quite quickly; considering each 2.4ml glaze is £15, i would have expected it to have much more longevity. I’ve now taken to wearing them on top of lipstick for a slight shine instead of wearing them alone.

I do want to give the Stila glazes the benefit of the doubt and so I will probably see if I can try another coloured shade but as for this collection, I’ve been left a bit disappointed. I’ve heard great reviews about their eye-shadows though so I’m hoping to try them too!
Have you tried Stila lip glazes before? What do you think?
