Hello Nerd About Town readers! I’m Christy, nice to meet you! I usually blog at http://anotherweekendwithoutmake-up.blogspot.com but the lovely Stephanie has kindly let me do a guest post here on her amaze blog today!

This is what I wore yesterday when I went on a road trip up the east coast of Scotland – we spent the day eating ice-cream and visiting the aquarium! Crop tops are a huge trend at the moment and one I wasn’t sure I was brave enough for, but I love the 60’s feel of this outfit. The high waisted pencil skirt means that only the slimmest part of my mid-riff is on show and my wobbly belly is safely tucked away! I used my lemon bowler bag to brighten up the outfit and give it a more lady-like feel.

What are your favourite trends this season? Will you be bearing your mid-riff to the world?
