Lace, florals and chiffon, oh my!

It was a lovely show and a very romantic and girlish take on couture, working with prints and what looked like sprigged cotton – but wasn’t – in heavy silk and satin.

Floral patterns conjured up day dresses and ball dresses comprised of chiffon layers. It was all very prim and very pretty and had something of Jane Eyre about it with the high Victorian necks and the covered up nature of the looks.
