What with all the recent hype over eyelash growth serums and what not, it was only a matter of time until companies decided to bring out their own ‘magic formula’ mascaras.
Introducing Rimmel’s new Accelerator Mascara.
Launched only this month, Rimmel combines both a mascara and eyelash treatment in one product, boasting an ‘advanced ultra-lengthing formula’ which promises to make eyelashes appear 80% longer within 30 days.
The sciencey Stuff
The mascara contains ‘grow-lash complex’ a combination of several growth ingredients including Procapil to strengthen lashes and increase circulation which helps the lashes to grow stronger. It also contains Vitamin H to reinforce lashes and keratin to help renew and restore.
I thought I would try this out as my lashes are VIRTUALLY non-existant. I will apply it every morning before work and put up another review at the end of the week to see if there has been any improvement in the length and volume of my lashes.
The tube is significantly smaller than usual and the wand distributes a LOT of coverage on the eyelash which is surprising as it looks as if there is not a lot of product on the actual wand.

I absolutely LOVE the volume of my lashes! I have very short, stringy lashes so this is like…AMAZING for me lol! It’s not too gloopy and has no flakeyness whatsoever. Has anybody else tried this?
