I’ve always found the Palazzo pant to be the ‘boss level’ of plus size clothing as it’s a cut that quite tricky to pull off, even if you are straight sized. It’s one of those pieces that when worn, it can either look REALLY GOOD or REALLY unflattering.
I decided to take this as a CHALLONJ and bought myself these fabulous Simply Be pleated palazzo pants because if I’m going to venture out of my comfort zone, I’d rather go big than go home. Now you don’t have to get palazzos as wide as mine, but coupled with the right pieces/accessories I believe that even the most cynical would be able to style these out with ease. I’ve found the key to balancing this piece out is by coupling it with a form-fitting upper half. In this case, I’ve teamed it with an old caged swimsuit and an all-mesh body from Missguided (I’ll show you similar below!). When I wear black, I often like to cross fabrics or patterns just to give the look a bit of depth and texture and to stop it from looking too flat.
Style Notes: The pants come a little way past my feet and I am 5,7 so just bear that in mind. They are very true to size and yes you do a bit of camel toe every now and again, but it’s not a huge inconvenience tbh.
