Hey hey gorgeous people and Happy Valentines day! Today I thought I’d quickly talk about this gem that I’ve had on my wishlist since January; the Makeup Revolution Sugar & Spice Blush Palette.

Upon buying this, I noticed that the colours are far lighter than the photo shown on the website; not that I’m complaining however, as the colours are pretty awesome.

The palette contains eight shades consisting of matte and shimmer blushes, one baked blusher and one baked highlighter. Like nearly all the MR products I have tried, the shades are bursting with pigment and have a lovely, fine texture; what’s not to love?

I mostly prefer the bottom set of the palette as the colours are a tad deeper and therefore suit my skintone a bit better, however all the tones are mega-wearable. 

I absolutely adore baked pigments, so the baked blusher + highlighters are a dream to work with. They blend in effortlessly and have a staying power of about 6 hours which is pretty decent. The champagne tone of the highlighter is a bit too light for my dark skin so I do sometimes mix it with another golden-toned highlighter that I have. You’re literally spoiled for choice if you’re after some pretty pink blushes!
