I’m not someone who’s really into Summer to be honest; the hayfever, the asthma triggers, feeling hot and stuffy all the time. Not really my scene. However it provides a great opportunity to take some pretty photos of the outdoors, as well as use up some great skincare products that I had casually lying around in my beauty basket (oh yes, one now has a “basket”. Check me out ay?!).

Neom Real Luxury Bath & Shower Oil  £32
Now I won’t lie; I’ve been wanting to purchase this bath oil for the longest time but frankly, the hefty price tag put me off a little. Last month, I psyched myself up to purchase it and boy I’m glad I did! The oil can be used in the bath or as part of your shower, however I prefer to pour a little in my bubble bath and let it infuse for a few minutes. The scent is absolutely gorgeous! I usually use it at night if I need a bit of help getting to sleep. The lavender scent is the most overpowering (in a good way), filling the bathroom with a gorgeous floral, soft scent that last for ages. The best thing about the oil is that you only really need a good capful for a lovely bath session; which is great as I intend to make this last until Christmas. 😀

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Instant Oatmeal Mask £17
I always find oatmeal to be a great calming agent for my dry/sensitive skin so this Summer, I’ve been using this First Aid mask every three days or so as I’ve been getting a bit of heat rash (womp).
It has the ever gorgeous scent of oatmeal and milk and contains shea butter to moisturize the skin. I leave it on for 10 minutes then wash off and I find that my skin is less inflamed and is a lot smoother than normal.

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum £14
I purchased this at the Walgreens Pharmacy in New York where it came up to be quite cheap! I think I paid around $9 which is around £6 – however it may or  may not have been on sale.
I didn’t get this for any particular reason other than I had run out of my previous serum and wanted to try something different. Formulated for dehydrated skin, the formula has a non-greasy texture which melts into the skin leaving no oily residue or grease on the top layer.
My skin just seems to drink this up and feels especially supple when I use my moisturiser on top. My skin feels hydrated throughout the day, maybe due to the fact that the serum also contains thermal water which works to replenish the skin. The serum contains no parabens and is suitable for those with sensitive skin.

Korres Fig Body Butter £12.50

One thing that has always attracted me to the Korres brand has been the packaging. I just love how medicinal and minimalist the designs are! I was attracted to this body butter in particular as the packaging matched my bedroom decor. What can I say? A girl’s gotta coordinate!
I’m a shea butterr kinda gal, so I was particularly interested to see how this body butter would serve my dry-skin-ded needs. Pretty well actually. Granted I used up the whole product in about a week as it’s quite small, the butter itself is pretty instensive and thick, with the same consistency as whipped cream. It has a strong fig-scent which isn’t too overpowering and it leaves my skin looking pretty awesome and radiant. I started combining the butter which some tinted shimmer and it makes one’s legs look pretty awesome.

Dr.Bronner’s Magic Soap in Peppermint around £2.00 for small

Love this stuff. Although I don’t use it for my skin anymore, It makes an EXCELLENT brush cleaner. Honestly, this stuff is amazing. I would recommend you all go out and get this for your brushes because it’s awesome. The Liquid Soap comes in a variety of different colours and flavours and will have your brushes smelling delicious. 🙂

  1. Some great choices here, Dr Bronners, you can NEVER go wrong, I think it's one of those gifts you can put into a hamper and anyone would be happy.

NEOM omg, I'm so infatuated with the brand, it's stupid, the prices are hefty but the products are worth it, got my nan a gift set for her birthday the other week and she adored it.

The oatmeal mask, I have tried and like, I agree the skin does feel smooth afterwards but must admit I didn't revisit it =/ xo
