I’m developing a bit of a love affair with Balance Me of late, having tried out a few of their products from their ‘Extra Care’ range. The British brand, who create all their products right here in the UK, are known for for their ‘Balance Me Promise’, which states that they do not use any parabens, sulphates, petroleum, mineral oils and other nasty synthetic ingredients, which is great for those like me with a love for natural skincare!

The Rose Otto Body Cream* is part of the ‘Rose Otto’ collection which is great for those with sensitive and mature skin. Containing ingredients such as shea butter, aloe vera, sweet almond and rosehip oil, which is known for its high anti-oxidant properties, the body cream works to moisturise and hydrate the skin as well as soothe and protect the skin against free-radicals that can age it.

Other ingredients include rose otto, palma rosa and geranium essential oils, which help to soften the skin. What I like about Balance Me skincare is that you’re given the opportunity to layer multiple products together, depending on your skin’s requirements for a more intense moisturizing experience . One way to use this body cream is to layer it on top of the award-winning body balm, which is also part of the Otto Rose collection.

As a regular body butter user, I found the body cream to be a pleasant surprise regarding it’s moisturising properties as I rarely use creams and lotions for the lack of hydration, but I find the body cream to be pleasantly hydrating and moisturising. I think I may also get the body balm too and try the layering method, as Winter is coming and my skin’s going to need as much protection as possible.

I havent tried any products from Balance Me. Thans for the review, sounds convincing. I'm a fan of The Body Shop body butters most of the times. 🙂

  2. I love Balance Me, I have a few bits from them to review but let me just say I've not had ONE break out using their facial products. My skin can be funny, I can sometimes use just oils and it's happy, sometimes it needs that extra attention. I'm what mine nan calls 'a waster' I use everything at once sometimes I've found my skin likes a mixture of body oil and cream xo
