During the summer, it was all about bright eyes, bright cheeks and summer-y, bright lipstick shades when it came to my daily face. Now that we are slowly transitioning into Autumn (neutral browns and muted shades, yay!), I’ve been slowly phasing out the “summer pop”, and replacing it with a basic, neutral face with a pop of bright lipstick. He’s a rundown of the products that I have been using the most during the last few weeks to help ease the transition to ‘fall face’. In the meantime, please excuse my Wolverine brows – I’m currently trying to grow them out so I can have them touched up -Cara Delevingne style- by HD Brows!

Chanel Perfection Lumiere Foundation
A long standing favourite of mine, what I love most about this mid-coverage foundation is that it’s so easy to build up, depending on your needs. It gives off a gorgeous dewy face that looks great both in Summer and Autumn and tends to last all day without the need for a touch up. I’ve received many compliments on my skin while wearing this so I’ll definitely be re-purchasing once this baby runs out. Read my full review of the foundation here. – Available at House of Frasier
Inika Mineral Eyeshadow – Autumn Plum
I’m not really an avid eyeshadow wearer (the reasons for this is a whole other blogpost in itself!), however when I do apply it, I always try to stick to the neutrals and plums in a bid to one day graduate to to dual-tones and brighter colours. I recieved this shadow as part of a previous “Birchbox” box and haven’t stopped using it since. It’s a gorgeous plum shade that is gorgeous for those who love a neutral face with a flash of colour. It’s a loose pigment, mineral shadow that has a great intensity and is easy to blend. Available from Inika website
Kat Von D Everlasting Bronzer – Shady Business II
Ever since taking part in the ‘Tans for WOC‘ a while back, I’ve been obsessed with trying out a range of tans and bronzers suitable for darker skin tones. I use the Everlasting Bronzer as a final touch up to highlight my (barely prominent!) cheekbones and a small sweep across my forehead. It’s a lovely shade suitable for all skin tones. Take a look at the full review here.
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer – “Cacao” and “Cafe”
Gone are the days when I would only use one concealer for my whole face, oh no. Thanks to the awesome-ness that is Youtube (and the need to learn how to highlight and contour), I now use two separate shades to conceal. One shade for my face and a lighter, softer shade for under my eyes. Apart from being great quality, NARS Creamy Concealers work incredibly well  with finishing powders to create a dewy, matte finish. Givea a creamy, thick finish and lasts about 7-8 hours. See the full review here. Available from the NARS website
Avon SuperExtend Infinitize Mascara
I have literally been walking around London looking like i’m wearing spiders’ legs for lashes thanks to this volume-boosting mascara. It gives the right amount of length and thickness without making lashes bulky and what I LOVE about this is unlike most waterproof mascaras, this just melts off your lashes with ease, leaving lashes intact (unlike some others which just ripped out my lashes by the root ¬_¬). Available from the Avon website
MAC Blush – Ambering Rose
Ambering Rose is a burnished, rosy brown blush with a gold shimmer and so works well within the Summer and Autumn months. It has a great colour payoff that is buildable from sheer to a true-to-colour opaque, without it looking too powdery. A staple for any collection. Available from the MAC website
ModelCo Colour Box Eye Pencil
I’ve always been a dedicated pencil/kohl fan as I’ve not yet gotten the hang of the beloved liquid liner as of yet. This was another Birchbox item and I like the fact that it comes with its’ own handy sharpener. It’s very soft in application, yet a devil to remove as it’s extremely waterproof. Great for the Autumn showers huh?
ELF Studio Matte Lip Colour – Rich Red
A really decent quality lip colour that is highly pigmented and long lasting. I would say that the texture is more of a velvet than matte as it gives off a slight shine and is very moisturizing in texture. The packaging is sleek and handy for a straight-to-lip application and reminds me of MAC’s ‘Russian Red’.
What are your Autumn/Fall staples?
