IsseyMiyak
Issey Miyake is a brand that has always been close to my heart. Not only are the clothes amazing, but his signature perfumes L’Eau d’Issey and L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme comfortably hold the prestigious title of modern classics.

‘Pleats Please‘ – is fragrance that has been designed as an “ode to timeless, fluid fashion” and pays homage to Issey’s signature look – pleats. I love the ‘crumpled paper’ design of the bottle and it’ll definitely be a keeper on the shelf once the product is empty!
The top note is the Nashi fruit – an Asian hybrid fruit which is generated by mixing pears with apples, although the pear is the dominant scent here). The heart notes symbolises femininity with floral accords of peony and sweet pea, while the Indole molecule provides freshness and vigor to the composition.
The base is generous with intensive scents of patchouli, cedar, vanilla absolute and white musk.

As far as fruity florals go, Pleats Please certainly places its’ emphasis on the fruits rather than the flowers, with the heart of the fragrance playing out delicate wisps of pastel pink roses and peonies.

It’s a great every day scent as it’s not especially overpowering and reminds me of a lighter version of Flower Bomb by Viktor & Rolf.
