Like Katy B, I have been on a mission (I pray you guys get this reference otherwise I am die!!!) to find the perfect pair of wide fit-friendly, wide calf-friendly, wide thigh-friendly, over the knee boots. An easy task right? I’m pretty sure it was an easier mission getting to Mordor with Frodo and ’em tbh.

I feel like I’ve tried every boot from every store: your Yours Clothings, your Evans’s, your S***y B*’s, all the ones. They either do not fit around my girthy and swole thighs or they roll down after 2 and a half minutes.

After countless weeks of mass ordering thigh boots from a variety of different stores, barely fitting them around my cankles and returning them, I was at a loss. I hopped onto Twitter and asked if anyone knew where I could find a decent pair of BEWTS that don’t roll down, but to no avail.

But where there’s a will, there’s a way my friends.

I slithered onto ASOS at 2am in a last bid to find something, at least. And there they were. The BEWTS. ASOS honestly rarely lets me down to be honest. These are the Korey Wide Fit Thigh High Heels and they are an absolute dream to wear. I won’t lie; I did hold my breath while trying them on as you do. They have a short side zip halfway down the leg which is really handy and I positively GASPED when they……………..went over my shins.

Then came the dreaded roll up the thigh. Would it stop at the knee crease? Would my circulation cut off before I complete this endeavour? Would I have to find out next time on Dragonball Z?

It slid over the knees with ease tbh. Success! I will say though, although it doesn’t roll down after 2 and a half minutes, it does roll down a *TAD*, after about 10 minutes of walking or so, but it still holds itself above the knee. It’s the most we can ask for isn’t it? Anyhoo, I’m happy with them, and also with this square neck white frilly dress from Pretty Little Thing. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: GIVE ME SQUARE NECKS OR GIVE ME DEATH!
