I find leather (real or faux) to be one of those textures that make it perfect for Autumn as although it can be quite a light material to wear on clear days, it’s solid still enough to retain heat when the temperature drops. I love breaking out the leather during this time and there’s nothing I like pairing leather with more than a crisp white crop top; combined with this Persona by Marina Rinaldi Faux Leather A-Line Skirt, I think I’ve definitely brought out my inner Rock n’Roll chic! I only recently heard about Persona by Marina Rinaldi (available at Navabi) and already I’m a big fan of the collection, which consists of a very simple and neutral colour palettes while showcasing various pieces containing a mix of textures and modern and contemporary tailoring. The cut of the A-Line skirt is gorgeous and gives just enough flair without it being too structured. The leather itself is very soft and light and does not have that rough inner lining that you can sometimes get with faux leather pieces. The length does come a bit further past down the knee, giving it that 1950’s feel and can go great with a crop top or even a short length cardigan. I paired the skirt with my white crop top from ASOS (their main range size 18’s are quite roomy!), some black strappies from Simply Be and my old leather jacket from New Look which makes me feel like an extra from a Quentin Tarantino remake of Grease – pretty badass!
