The other day I was going through my wardrobe, and I realised that I literally owned NO ‘proper’ shirts/blouses. Instead were a bunch of crop tops, mesh tops, latex affairs, jumpers and shirt dresses. I don’t know why I’d never noticed it before, but now as we approach winter, I’m really trying to find pieces that compliment the endless skirts/trousers that I have tucked away in storage.
One brand that does this very well is my beloved Elvi. Elvi is one of my all-time favourite plus size brands and they create some of the most beautiful pieces using luxe fabrics, intricate detailing and dynamic tailoring. I can always count on finding a gorgeous, unique piece that fits true to size.
This gathered stripe sleeve blouse (currently on sale!) has a lot going on: the statement balloon sleeves are totally on trend and the collarless v-neck style gives me medieval vibes for some reason. I absolutely love it!
