Who’s up for round two?

Thank you to all of you who entered my giveaway in partnership with The Curve Fashion Festival last week! I did promise you guys that I would be back with another opportunity to win two more tickets to the Fatshion calendars’ biggest event and I like to deliver, so this week’s spotlight is in collaboration with Missguided, who will be also joining the fray come September at the Exhibition Centre in Liverpool for this year’s event.
Now I’ll be honest, in the beginning, Missguided were a bit hit and miss with me in regards to the variety of clothes they had available for plus sizes, as well as the inconsistent sizing, however, credit where credit is due, I have noticed improvements in the collection. While their sizes still only go up to a size 24 (which really should be extended), I’ve noticed that a LOT of their sizes run quite big.
Case in point, this oversized sequin khaki jacket (which has sadly sold out); I’m wearing a size 22 here and I currently wear between a 24/26. This jacket could EASILY fit a size 28/30. The same goes with this insert mesh dress which is a size 26 and also incredibly roomy. I have a few other items from Missguided that run really big, so I would definitely look into shopping there if you are a couple of sizes bigger. So yes, they should run bigger, however, plenty of their pieces run big. Swings and roundabouts innit?
