Who doesn’t love a good giveaway?
On the 9th of September, the Curve Fashion Festival returns for a 2nd year at Exhibition Centre in Liverpool and I’m v v excited. I went for the first time last year and I had such an amazing time seeing all my other plus blogger friends – it’s such a lovely, positive environment filled with truckloads of plus brands, informative workshops/talks and exciting catwalks showcasing the latest plus collections.
This year’s event promises to be bigger and better, with more brands, amazing catwalk shows, and this year, menswear will be introduced to the event, which will be awesome.
One of the brands that will be showcasing for the first time this year is In the Style Curve. Created towards the end of last year, In the Style Curve has gone from strength to strength, creating on-trend, affordable styles and plus size extensions from their main range pieces.
One piece that I’ve been loving at the moment is the Cold Shoulder Distressed Jumper Dress. Now, I normally try as much as possible to stay away from cold shoulders, but this dress spoke to me. I’m a fan of the ribbed, distressed style, and the arms are also a tad baggy which seems to work for me. It’s a simple dress, but it has a lot going on which is a common theme for my style tbh. The cold shoulder proudly displays my stretchmarks and considering the material, isn’t too warm to wear. With the added holes, it should be perfect for a lovely breezy summer’s day.
