As I stated a couple blog posts earlier, I’m currently going through a ‘Wednesday Adams – all-black-everything’ sort of phase as it gets colder and so when I saw this gorgeous Midi Ponte Dress designed by Jameela Jamil for Simply Be, I near enough gagged. I needed it for ALL THE REASONS.
The dress is absolutely beautiful and fits like a dream; I’ve never owned a vintage-inspired dress before and this was giving me everything I needed. The sheer polka dot panels are stretchy and managed to accommodate my arms and I really love the peekaboo sheer panelling on the bottom of the dress too. The Dress is cinched in at the waist and gives off a lovely silhouette. In general I just love the Gothic-Victoriana vibe I get off the dress, and I styled it with my Simply Be Sole Diva Block Sandals and no accessories as this is the type of dress that has enough drama that it needn’t need any jazzing up. A delight!
