One thing I’ve noticed and loved about this year is watching the steady influx of plus size brands coming into their own and providing great clothes; Polly Grace is one of those brands. Polly Grace have a great range of casual pieces and maxi dresses which I’m hoping will expand with more styles as time goes on. I was kindly asked to participate in the blogger summer style challenge wearing one of the pieces from the range and my eyes were quickly drawn to the asymmetrical Zoey dress.
As you have probably noted, I’m wearing the dress slightly different to how it’s supposed to be worn (partly due to me being a bit confuddled by the arm holes!), however I think this way works also. Bold print is still going strong on my blog and I absolutely fell in love with the tropical print on this dress. I don’t happen to own many green/aqua dresses which is a shame as it’s my favourite colour, however I feel like this colour really brightens up my skin tone!
The gathered detail on one side can be fitted or loose depending on how much leg you want to show; this, along with the tropical print and shoulder detail/slash neckline (which can’t be seen here unfortunately due to me wearing it a different way!) would make this dress PERFECT for lounging around on the beach or going for drinks somewhere. I’ve teamed the dress with my Primark heels and not much else as I think the dress speaks for itself!
